These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Datetris app and website at datetris.date ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Datetris. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or over and have the legal capacity to enter these Terms.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at datetris@pm.me if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may have only one account at a time.
Acceptable use
When using Datetris, you agree not to:
- Use the Service if you are under 18.
- Impersonate anyone or create a fake profile.
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse other users.
- Post or send sexually explicit content involving minors. This is a hard rule with no exceptions.
- Post nude or sexually explicit content of any person.
- Solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other users.
- Promote products, services, or other websites.
- Use the Service for any illegal activity, including human trafficking, prostitution, or fraud.
- Send messages that are racist, hateful, or discriminatory.
- Try to break, hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.
- Scrape, copy, or collect data from other users' profiles.
- Share information about other users outside Datetris without their consent.
Content you post
You keep ownership of the photos, text, and other content you post. By posting, you grant Datetris a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to run the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are legally required to keep records.
Subscriptions and payments
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Prices are shown in the app. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
Payments are processed by Google Play or Apple. Refunds are subject to their policies.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have broken these Terms, broken the law, or put other users at risk.
You may delete your account at any time. See our Delete Account page.
Safety
Datetris is a tool to help people meet, but we cannot vet every user. Be careful.
- Never send money to anyone you have only met on Datetris.
- Be cautious about sharing personal contact details or your home address.
- Meet for the first time in a public place, and tell someone where you are going.
- Trust your instincts.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Datetris is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may update the Service over time. We may also update these Terms. If we make material changes to the Terms, we will notify you in the app or by email.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home country.
